It’s not easy being Perfect

laugh

But I don’t know that accepting one’s imperfections is much easier.  :)

Stars: Madison, 3, LA.  USA.

Background:  I almost didn’t include this picture.  Truth is, I don’t love the way I photographed it.   I cropped Madison’s head, the lighting’s off, basically I don’t do justice to Madison’s natural beauty.  You should have seen her.  She’s radiant!  Tristin, my friend, said “Don’t worry!  That’s what Photoshop is for.  Give me five minutes, and I’ll fix it.”   Then, knowing me, like she does, she said:  “You have to use it!”  She’s right, of course.  So here it is.  It’s not easy, but I’m learning to relax my perfectionist nature and LAUGH.  Besides, I have to post it for Madison!

Did you know:  The Santa Monica Pier in Santa Monica, CA celebrates 100 years in just 2 days!

This is a very cool idea to get these little kids to stand with the signs. Do you do it yourself or do people send them in. I would be too afraid to just walk to to people’s kids if you catch my drift

I am glad you included this one, she is ADORABLE! Thank you, Tristan for encouraging and helping Brian.
I think I will have to put on my boots and hat and come on up and give you some tutoring on picnik and tweetdeck!;)

@MomsMaterial Maybe we can just make tweetdeck a New Year’s Eve Resolution type of thing… ;)

    Like a cheeky little smile!

You should just make loads of tiny tshirts with cheerupnation.com printed on them and have all these kids wear them :) awesome way to promote your blog! hehe

    Have a super cool Tuesday!

Cute girl, cute post. Nice reminder that it doesn’t have to always be perfect. In fact, throw that thought out – I’m a huge believe that imperfection IS perfection.

  7. yeah you could make cheerupnation t-shirts. There are some free services online that lets you do that.

@Oscar Working on it. Working on it a lot longer than I should have. I should be done already! :)

@Valerie M It’s taken me longer than I’d like to admit that “yes, that’s so so true.”
