Post-it Note #1
June 16, 2009
Today, I will cheer someone UP.
As Mark Twain said “The quickest way to cheer yourself up is to cheer someone else up.”
Though, I don’t know. Money’s pretty awesome, and I could think of a few other colorful items that would perk me right up.
But for lasting happiness, there’s really nothing like seeing someone’s eyes light up because of something you did to make their day.
And it doesn’t have to be big either. Mow someone’s lawn, mow your own lawn, buy someone lunch, make a card, cook your friends dinner, give them a massage.
Well, I don’t know about the massage part. Part of you may enjoy it more than them.
I remember I was at a party once and someone said “Did you know that 80% of massages lead to sex?” And my eyebrows said REALLY? And she said “Let’s keep it in the 20% tonight.”
So, yes, do something nice for someone else. Just maybe not a massage.

So completely awesome and I’m so completely excited for you!
