I did everything alone. It was amazing how many people I met, because I was alone. A person who is alone is much more approachable, than a person who is with someone else or in a group. I made great contacts for work and socializing. I like hockey and went to the local pro hockey team's games alone. At every single game, someone sitting nearby would buy me a soft drink or popcorn or both! Being by yourself, also makes you memorable to others. The ticket seller at the hockey rink remembered me and deliberately sold me a ticket for a seat next to a man who always bought one ticket. No fireworks, but it was fun! Once people get over caring what other people will think of them by going to a movie theater alone, they realize that all that fear that was inside their heads was just bullshit and no one around them really cares about their solo adventure (plus they are busy holding hands or making out, at least I was when I went there in pairs ;) ) Good post man, you know I love you Been there, done that, and it really isn’t that big of a deal.
